AI readiness fix & re-test
Products that meet a channel's requirements can be found by AI shopping assistants. Many stores still miss the basics: attributes that only live in images, policies AI can't read, settings nobody checked. I find the gaps, fix them and re-test.
What I check
- Eligibility against Shopify Catalog requirements
- Product attributes, variants, images and prices
- Shipping, return and other policies as readable text
- FAQ and Knowledge Base answers
- Crawlability, product feeds and AI channel settings
- Meta (Muse): store policies kept current; Facebook & Instagram product sync if you also run shoppable ads
- Products that shouldn't be exposed, such as MAP-priced or wholesale-only items
What you get
- A prioritized fix list
- The agreed fixes, implemented, with a change log
- Re-test records with dates, before and after
Not included, not promised
- Rankings, recommendations or order growth. Each AI channel decides those.
- Deciding for you whether to turn a channel on or off
- Bugs inside third-party apps
Discovery and checkout differ by channel
| Channel | How products are found | Where checkout happens |
| ChatGPT | Shopify Catalog; the store must sell to US shoppers | On your store's own checkout, in an in-app browser or new tab |
| Google AI Mode / Gemini | Through Google Merchant Center | Direct checkout requires a US store selling to US shoppers |
| Microsoft Copilot | The store must sell to US shoppers | Direct checkout for US shoppers; subscriptions, bundles, custom products and custom pixels aren't supported there |
| Meta (Muse) | Shopify Catalog; Facebook & Instagram product sync is only needed for shoppable ads | Direct checkout inside Meta surfaces such as Muse, for shoppers in the US, Canada and Mexico |
Summary of Shopify Help Center pages, checked 2026-10-07. Channel rules change, so they are re-checked on every project.
Manual checks in real AI assistants are spot checks on agreed channels and regions, limited to the features available at the time, with date, query and result recorded. If a channel can’t be accessed, that limitation is written down. One result is not proof of future recommendations.
How it works
From a free check to a tested fix
Free quick check
Send your store link. I look at public pages and tell you whether this is a fit and where the obvious gaps are. No admin access, no full report.
Diagnosis & quote
If it needs a deeper look inside your admin, I quote a written scope first.
Implementation
I make the agreed changes and log each one.
Re-test & handover
You get before/after records and notes your team can maintain.
